here in the desert we celebrate spring - not summer. all things wonderful are happening NOW in arizona. you can just feel the energy. everyone is out and about, patios are full, bikes are crusin' and tunes are a bumpin. here are some artists and tracks that are currently blastin' in the ting's cars and cottage. happy weekend.
a swedish electro pop duo that met at a party and were writing and recording 14 days later, icona pop puts out the kind of summer tracks that make you want to sing out loud. if you're a GIRLS fan, you may recognize this first tune.

this canadian band has been around for a decade, but i was just introduced to them. perhaps a little too poppy for ting, but a groove i can get into. maybe i like them extra 'cuz their latest album, the north, dropped on my birthday.
