The days following Coachella are always filled with a series of tears, smiles, starring at photos and endless recapping of the many unforgettable moments and memories that were made to a live music soundtrack.
Trying to explain Coachella to someone who hasn't been is like trying to describe a beautiful sunset to someone who can't see. Sure, you can describe the festival, but the feeling we get is pretty much indescribable. If you fully embrace what it has to offer, it's three days of pure bliss times a thousand. It's where I belong.
I'm working on getting everyone's photos organized and sorted. They'll be ready to share very soon. In the meantime, here's a list of who we saw. In the past, we've tried to bounce around and see as many shows as possible. It's like going to Europe for a week and visiting six different countries. Sure, you "saw" them, but you didn't really experience anything to it's fullest. That being said, this year our group of 10 decided to commit to shows so we'd see full sets -- which was amazing! Of course, there's always going to be some running around, but this was by far the best year for seeing a lot of great sets from start to finish.

Watching this video makes me cry (yup, for real). Marcus Mumford and the band walked out on stage and looked like they were going to cry. They were so overwhelmed by the crowd's response. To have this type of success with a debut album is pretty incredible. Do yourself a favor and watch this entire video.

Nothing beats a dance party in the grass with thousands of other people.

I ran to get to this set. It was over a 100-degrees while they played. Truly a hot sweaty dance party.

OMG - loved the Mumford & Sons video! My jaw about hit the floor when I saw that sea of people. That had to be incredible. I think you're going to two more join you next year! :)
