Well, unfortunately Syd's blood work results from yesterday weren't what we were hoping for. We got a call this morning that her counts are dropping (significantly) instead of increasing. So, she's at the hospital for a blood transfusion where she'll stay overnight. Thank goodness Grandma & Grandpa Bockting have offered to stay with them this weekend (thank you!). We know she'll be in good hands & get extra love.
Although this was the one of the worst case scenarios, the good news is that hopefully this will be what makes her all better. Poor lil girl... we just feel awful that she's having to go through all this. Love you, Syd!
