friday night and until the wee hours of saturday morning, i danced my face off to the remixed sounds of RAC the remix artist collaborative, an international group of musicians who create re-interpretive rock / electronica / dance remixes for artists across musical genres. each song was a total danceable sing-a-long and we couldn't get enough. the show was at bar smith, a fantastic little dive in downtown phoenix with a DJ set-up downstairs plus one on the rooftop overlooking the city. it was awesome. and even more awesome is that we were literally the last people on the dance floor. they pulled the plug on the turntables, turned on the lights, handed us a bottle of water and sent us on our way.
