we love our neighborhood. we can't imagine living anywhere else in the valley. it's one of the more "urban" areas in phoenix simply meaning that we can actually walk and/or bike ride to almost everything we need. within four blocks we have the valley's favorite wine bar (and ours), our favorite pizza places (two of them!), our local grocery market, danny's specialty beer shop, a nail salon, a burger joint, amazing thai food, hunter's vet & daycare, a weekend farmer's market and over the past two years it's just getting better & better. this week, sam fox (arizona's ultimate restaurateur) opened a new spot in our neighborhood... NoRTH Fattoria Italiana. we walked over last night to check it out with the rest of the neighborhood. the space is open and airy and totally blends indoor and outdoor. we snagged a couple seats at the bar and sampled a bunch of stuff off the new menu. welcome to the neighborhood, NoRTH. it's nice to have you here.
