shame on us for not checking out dick's hideaway sooner. part of the same family as one of our favorite bars (the rokerji), it's no surprise that we loved it and it's easy to see why dick's hideaway is a phoenix fave. the food was delicious. the vibe was cozy. you walk through an unmarked door and straight into a dark, quaint restaurant and bar. it was the perfect setting for a chilly saturday morning with friends. felt almost like a mountain town. lots of coffee, a couple mimosas, breakfast quesadillas and jalepeno eggs benedict were devoured while the boys talked business and girls caught up.
all business for the boys.
and bubbly for the girls.
this 9:30 a.m. breakfast was just the beginning of a totally spontaneous day with Rachel & Mikis. a home tour, massage for me, met back up for a late lunch and drinks at O.H.S.O Brewery, games & cocktails at The Little Woody where Andrew & Leslie joined the fun, and then we carpooled to Chandler with Alex & Heather for an impromptu night at Nick & Angela's with friends.
